I managed to finally do it. It seems Yosemite changes things in terminal and you have to write ./ before some things to make it work. Nightmare! Finally rooted it, finally installed fqrouter2....and the WiFi repeater won't work. Absolutely gutted.

Is it possible to connect to a subscription WiFi service (one where you sign in each time you use it) and then broadcast that network from your phone. I can tether from my phone using my own mobile network, but I want to broadcast this WiFi service instead. Is it possible? Moto G - Android KitKat
