I want my Gingerbread update badly too :( I know a few guys who work at Google but they wouldn't tell me the exact release date for Gingerbread, instead they told me it will be out soon. For me, "soon" could mean a lifetime. :mad: I just hope it gets officially released before/on Christmas...

I did a manual update through the recovery function in the bootloader by following the "[How-to] Prep Nexus One for Gingerbread" thread and I've noticed a small increase in overall phone speed. Might be just me though.....:confused:

In my opinion, I still think the Nexus One is the best, if they eliminate the little quirks and issues on it, but we probably can't say for sure if the Nexus S/Two will be up to par until we see a finalized specifications sheet.
