    Cleaning up "Other" storage

If you tap on the 'Other' section, does it 'expand' to show you some of those files? The 'problem' with that section is that it can come from all over your phone. Clearing the cache (don't do data unless you want to completely wipe something to a 'factory' state!) from the phone's menu would...

    Hi to everyone

Welcome to the AC Forums! Hopefully we'll be able to help! :)

    Visual Voicemail

Nope, the PHONE app (i.e. The Dialer)

    Visual Voicemail

Your phone does have visual voicemail, but it's carrier-activated. In other words, if your carrier (for whatever reason) doesn't tell your phone you have this feature active, it won't show you the option. If you do have it active, you'll find it either on the voicemail notification or by going...

    Buying direct from Samsung?

I've done trade-ins from Samsung direct for years, and also have done it through T-Mo... And at one point it was through T-Mo, but fulfilled directly from Samsung. Never had an issue with either, but Samsung does sometimes take their sweet time letting you know if your trade-in was accepted...

Question Google Maps labeling Contacts addresses as Other instead of Home

Again, not sure why it's not working for you and the only thing I can think of is to re-sync your Contacts (remove Contacts account from phone, re-add) or to re-create the contact and ensuring no duplicate addresses exist.

Question Google Maps labeling Contacts addresses as Other instead of Home

Both. If I add a contact's address, the location shows up in my Private labels in Google Maps. But I can also add non-contact related locations to my Private labels there.

    WiFi Calling problem

Also, not sure if the phone is carrier-branded or not but some carriers also block features on unlocked devices. Again, if the option isn't there it's not because your phone doesn't support it (unless you installed a different OS version that might not be compatible), it's because the carrier...

    HELP

Sounds like a carrier issue, not a phone one.

    WiFi Calling problem

Does your carrier support WiFi calling? The WiFi calling feature is carrier-dependent. If it's available on your device, you would see it on Settings/Connections; there should be a Wi-Fi Calling toggle. If this is absent or grayed out, your current carrier settings don't support this feature.

    Messages really slow

Have you tried disconnecting/re-connecting RCS? This may also be a carrier issue, especially with MMS/media chats.

Question Google Maps labeling Contacts addresses as Other instead of Home

Yup. That's where all my contacts show up. You do have the option to remove them from there (and I wouldn't know where to see what you've removed/bring them back, so won't try that but there's that option).

Question Move files and settings to new phone from phone with broken screen?

Without a way to see what you're doing on the screen (or having input on it for that matter) it will be nearly impossible to do any sort of data transfer/back up if no cloud services were previously enabled. Only if the device is unlocked would you be able to connect to a computer via USB and...

Question Google Maps labeling Contacts addresses as Other instead of Home

Ah! Those are just the labels 'saved' to your account. That's where Contacts (saved in your Google Account) will show up, but also if you use the button below in your image (ADD A PLACE), you can save locations with custom names; this does not apply to Contacts and is just custom...
