    Roku and Disney plus

Is the Roku model too old? Disney did announce that some older models will no longer be supported (but that should go into effect in December, however). Do the apps load OK before signing in? Are they crashing (i.e. app issue) or are they just not letting you log in (i.e. account issue)?

    Roku and Disney plus

Which region are you in? In the US, the apps (both Disney and Hulu, and content directly through Disney's app) are working for me on all my Rokus. If you were subscribed to the services through YouTube TV, however, that MAY be affected account-wise since their carrier agreement lapsed.

S25 Location for Secure Folder Setting Update?

Yeah, not sure why they made this so confusing. The 'main' toggle is like an overall on/off switch. But inside Secure Folder (just like your individual apps on 'normal' mode), you can still turn location permissions on/off for each app. For instance, if you turn the general switch on, but...

S25 Location for Secure Folder Setting Update?

It's location for any app in the Secure Folder. However, inside Secure Folder, you can still have granular control of which apps can access your location.

    Question Media Picker in Chrome

Long press on the Chrome icon and tap on the APP INFO icon. There, tap on the PERMISSIONS section. Tap Photos and Video (which may be under the Not Allowed section). There you can select the appropriate option (Always allow all is preferred).

Is there an app that ca make my screen respond to cover lid?

Not sure if such an app exists, but if it does, I'm guessing it would kill your battery pretty quickly. The ambient light sensor isn't active unless the screen is on. An app like what you're looking for would have to either find a way to bypass the screen state so the sensor can be on at all...

    Question Takeover Adware

But did you uninstall/disable Chrome? If not, and the ads are coming through there, the push notification nature of them would still keep them coming through. Also, nothing in the installed app list 'stand out'? Or in the permission manager for apps that can appear on top?

    Question Takeover Adware

Since you mentioned that it doesn't happen in Safe Mode, chances are the 'easy way' of getting rid of this is, indeed, a factory reset (just be mindful of which apps you re-download, or install gradually to pin-point which app is making these overlays appear). Also, what happens if you...

    Question Photo size too large

Yup, gotta be a 'view' setting in the program you use to view the photos. Unless you have a VERY old phone, your pictures were never 640x480 (for reference, that's the original resolution of SD TV's and VGA monitors).

    Question Takeover Adware

I thought the balls were part of the video; see them now. Check the 'Apps that can appear over other apps' settings on your phone and either turn everything off there, or see if there's any app that stands out (most likely mobile games or not-so-reputable apps). I'd also go into the installed...

    Question Takeover Adware

Not sure what I'm looking at from the picture, but first I'd see if those 'ads' are just webpage notifications (if you enable push notifications from a browser, like Chrome, websites can send you these via push). If that's the case, you'd see these as a notification with a browser icon, and...

    Question Smart Innovation?

If the Orbi can't detect a device name, it may assign that 'generic' name on its own. Are you sure that's the IP address for your phone? (Also, I'd obscure your MAC address in the image... just a precaution :) ).

    Question Mysterious file downloads

Yeah, when those get in "limbo" they appear as part of the individual chats (because until the message is downloaded, it doesn't really 'know' it's part of a group thread). If you have RCS enabled, try turning it off/on as it sometimes causes some of these messages to 'hang'.

    Question Mysterious file downloads

Are you on mobile data? Or have WiFi-calling enabled? This can sometimes happen if they send you a MMS (which requires the aforementioned). A picture, a sticker, GIF, etc. or messages that are too long may be converted to MMS, which could show up like this.
