Question Using tablet as a screen for my phone

Depends on both devices, especially carrier-branded ones. If the option is on both the tablet and phone, then that's a step in the right direction. Yes, grayed out until you connect an USB. However, if your carrier blocks hotspot, they MAY also block ethernet/USB tethering. There are 3rd...

Question Which music player for Samsung S10+, files are on a Mac

You may have to download it from the Galaxy Store. Samsung stopped pre-loading some apps but it should be available there. I used DoubleTwist in the past (read AGES ago) but only on a PC. It was highly rated and useful back then, hopefully it still is today. But if the files are MP3, you...

Question Which music player for Samsung S10+, files are on a Mac

Depends on how you obtained the files. If they are iTunes purchases, you're pretty much out of luck. iTunes downloads are encrypted and can only be accessed through iTunes. You should be able to, however, sync your iTunes library to an Android phone using apps like iSyncr or DoubleTwist (but...

Question Using tablet as a screen for my phone

For real time traffic and stuff, yes, you'd need some sort of data connection to the tablet. However, you can connect to WiFi at home and download offline map areas. You can still get directions and navigation (using the tablet's GPS) that way, but there will be no automatic re-routing due to...

Is there a device to connect a cell phone to a rj11 chorded phone?

With most phones getting rid of the headphone jack, wireless audio is the way of the world now. Also, unless it's a really crappy headset or you have a lot of devices working in the 2.4GHz range outside normal working parameters (i.e. faulty microwave, hacked radio to output more power than...

    Issues With Images

What's the size/resolution of the original image being downloaded? You can open them on the Gallery app and check. If the original size is too small for the large screen, any attempt to use it to fill up the background of it will inevitably result in image degradation (i.e. pixelation).

Question App shuts off at same time a couple times per week

Automations depend on what apps you use (the 'built in' system should be Samsung Routines), but if you use apps like Tasker or IFTTT (which I don't think it's the case, but still possible) then those could be effecting a reboot. Some apps run updates at specific times (if that's internal...

Question App shuts off at same time a couple times per week

Have you checked if the phone is set to reboot at a certain time/interval? Or are there any automations running? You can also try 'pinning' the app (go into the recent apps menu and tap the icon above the running app you want; you should see some options and you can use either KEEP OPEN or PIN...

Question Using tablet as a screen for my phone

Depends on which devices you have. If both are Samsung devices, you can do screen mirroring from the phone to the tablet through WiFi Direct. But the easiest way would be to just use the phone's hotspot and connect the tablet to it and use navigation from there. BT connection will not suffice...

Is there a device to connect a cell phone to a rj11 chorded phone?

They sell USB 'headsets' (some even are made to look like old phones) that she could use, but you'd have to check if the phone supports that through the USB port (some only support charging, no audio).

    Question Google App Update

You'd have to ask Google that... but most likely, the most 'common' searches overall (and being who they are, preeeeetty sure they know what search trends look like for most of users :) ).

    Wireless Charging not working

Have you tried it on a different charger and making sure there are no cases? If that exhibits the same behavior, I'm afraid it pretty much points to a hardware issue and not much you can do other than replace the coil/repair the phone's board.

Anyone having issues with your watch locking on your wrist?

Yup. Same since the update. The 'trick' that seems to work more consistently is to let the screen time out on its own before moving my wrist or 'slapping' the screen. But definitely something that's been buggy since the update.
