Let's all hope Asus owns up to this wifi issue and figures out a fix... if I don't see something from them about this before the end of the month (along with pushing ICS), I'll be returning this to Best Buy. Shipment delays, wifi issue, GPS issue, locked bootloader... the hits just keep coming.

It is odd because the problem seems inconsistent. Sometimes is works fine, like right now with it in my lap and browsing, I have a full signal. But when I hold it, the issue seems to appear. That would seem to indicate some type of HW issue with antenna and how it is setup.

Maybe they can try turning up the power to boost rx/tx? Although that would decrease battery life. I read somewhere else an option could be swapping out units with the issue if it was a production problem with the first batch?

Got my Prime last Friday. I definitely notice a weaker signal on the Prime than I do on other wireless devices throughout the house (2 W7 laptops, 2 touchs, 1 HTC Incredible). I can be standing within 10 feet of my dual band wireless N router with line of site and still not get a full signal...
