    Well, we got an 8.0 Oreo update yesterday, downloaded it, updated the phone and still I cannot transfer any music from my computer onto the Pixel. One update down, no improvement.

    FYI, I contacted Google Chat Help on my phone and ended up sending in a Feedback report re this issue. The rep acknowledged that they'd received a few similar complaints and a fix would be coming "soon". Color me skeptical.

    I was able to do it easily under 7.1 (or whatever the previous OS was), but ever since I upgraded to 8.0, the Android File Transfer program will no longer allow me to transfer music from my Mac to my Pixel. I have not seen anything else addressing this.
