Well, the new feature of my watch away from my phone works halfway. I get a notification on my phone that it was locked but nothing on my watch that I left my phone behind. Here's the phone notification:

I had to continuously tap on the watch icon on the update page of my watch to get it to finally update.

I checked for the update for my PW2 and got the March update (mine was also on Dec 5) but I still don't see any settings relating to the watch being away from the phone. I'll test it out at work again tomorrow morning.

I tested it and it didn't work between my P8P and PW2. But I don't see a setting for it so I don't know if it's just baked in or supposed to be an option.

While reading the changes during the update (weird to see a huge write-up about them on the update in progress page) I'm most excited about not having to have a separate app that lets me know when I leave my phone behind while wearing my Pixel Watch 2. One less app to have on my phone and watch...

Just got the update after checking for it. Hope it fixes the issue I had with the recent apps button where pressing it would show blank apps and no way to pick any of them. Then with another press, I could usually get it to work properly. This all started immediately after the A15 update...

What happens when you go into the clock app via the app drawer? Does that alarm show there? Also, have you rebooted your phone yet to see if that takes care of the issue?

Same here. I didn't even check out what the P9 series has to offer, because I don't care. My P8P has been fantastic for a year and has had no issues.
