I am having the same issue and it drives me batty... You can go into the running applications screen, and force stop the screen capture service; but alas it finds a way to restart later on...

Does she use the "Feeds And Updates" widget? I had all kinds of trouble with my battery life and my phone being bogged down and sluggish when I was running that widget with 2.2. Once I removed it from one of my home screens the problems started clearing up... Just a suggestion...

I am having the same issue! I use this widget more than any other (for the most part) and it is getting annoying! I hope it gets fixed soon... I have also noticed a drop in my 3G coverage lately...

Just got my update! I have been checking for it for since Monday nonstop! I just tried out the GPS, and what usually took 5+ mins to get a lock was almost instant like 3 seconds! I am a happy camper right now, even though it was not Froyo...
