OS integration is nice but there are ways around it. The only thing I see that's genuinely necessary is the ability to text on the desktop which there are several solutions. But that's what you get when one company has full control over their devices. Text selection definitely can be better...

That doesn't sound right. Setting up your Citibank card should only require your card info and your address. There should be no webpages or anything. A Samsung account is required but you can do that from the Samsung Pay page or add an account from the Accounts section in your settings.

Had a problem with Android Pay on my phone but I'm not sure if it's an issue with Samsung Pay being active at the same time. The lights on the NCF reader would only go half way and never continue. Anyone else see this behavior? Samsung Pay works with no issues.

I've had issues with a few terminals. Target and some other iPad POS terminals. It seems like older units work best. I'll need to try at Target again. I wonder if there's something to the Target inconsistency.

Whole Foods already accepts NFC payments so that shouldn't be a problem with Samsung Pay.

I got a very delayed transaction notification (12+ hours) after I used my card last night. I'm not sure if this was something they just "switched" on or if this delay is normal. BoA was instant during the beta.

I also tried it at an iPad based POS on Friday and that failed to work too. I hope they can get some of these reader issues ironed out. Posted via the Android Central App

Interestingly I just tried using my Citi card and BoA card at Target and got the dreaded "Error reading card" message on their EVM readers. My local supermarket worked fine. Posted via the Android Central App

The encryption shouldn't interfere with adding cards outside the beta. I had the same issue with encryption and Samsung wasn't aware of the issue when I contacted them. I was able to remove my Citibank card and add it back while my phone was encrypted. I still can't add my Amex for whatever...

I think this was for the release version of Samsung Pay.I was able to add my Citibank card and it looks like they fixed the encryption issue.

The beta will only support BoA cards. It will eventually support most cards based on partnership. I'm not sure of PayPal MC though.
