Question How Do I get My Pixel to *NOT* Display the Title of a Podcast When Screen is Locked!?

Some podcast apps allow you to customize the name of the podcast. You could change it to blank or 'Bobs podcast'. Not sure if that would solve your problem but it could be worth a try.

    Where's Smart Lock

Yes, I just saw this today on my Pixel 6a. I fixed it by toggling the smart lock setting off and back on (under Trust agents). Now the actual trusted places and devices show on the Smart Lock setting screen. Sent from my SM-T220 using AC Forums mobile app

    Suddenly can't see podcast files!

The same thing happened to me using the PodcastAddict app. My fix? I connect my phone to my Windows computer or Chromebook and use the file system to access the files.

    Bursts of static

You didn't mention if you tried the permission change trick that worked for me. See comment #10 . I also experienced the issue with a ZTE ZMax2 phone so I am not convinced it is a Motorola problem to fix.

    Bursts of static

I think I found the solution. Go to Settings - Apps - Chrome - Permissions and turn off the location permission. It appears to have resolved the static burst issue for my Moto G3.

    Bursts of static

I signed up for this forum when I found this thread. I could have written it. I first experienced the bursts of static while listening to hours of podcasts (Podcast Addict) on a Moto G3. I was sure my phone was malfunctioning. The static was painful in my earpiece. So I switched to my backup...
