My phone does NOT have any setting like this anywhere! OnePlus 13. I am using AODnotify and it works great but I "wish" I could just get the built in screen flashing (edge lighting) to flash more than one time which makes it absolutely useless!

This is my main (only) phone and a BETA is far too risky. I read up on the BETA and there are far too many BUGS in this version. This is NOT for the average end user. YMMV

Seems to me that Oxygen Updater is no longer providing "earlier" than normal updates. Both the app and the phone itself made the update available at the same time which was this morning. Hmmm?

I have had several OnePlus phones including the current 13. I never felt that the updates were lacking. In fact I think that by releasing them 6 times a year gives them time to squash as many bugs as possible so that there are fewer problems with the updates.

I have worked with computers, servers, workstations, VMware, AND cell phones (Android) for nearly as long as they have been in existence! I guarantee you that I know more about all of it then you can even begin to comprehend! Over 25 years as a systems engineer. I have 9 certifications!

I am sure it IS a solid device. I never used a widget yet, and I have not typed a single note under any contact! So while I agree that the constant removal of features can be aggravating, I am sure there are simple work arounds for this particular complaint! YMMV

In your own home on your own WIFI I would not worry about any static MAC address being a security issue. If the setting can be changed for "each" WIFI connection then the only time you may want to set a random MAC address is when on public WIFI. I have the 9 Pro XL and have no WIFI disconnect...

That's what I thought you were doing. Mine is still NSA. I use Mint also. I wonder if it has to do with location?

OK... so are we all thoroughly confused yet? I would bet dimes-to-dollars the people who created these features also HAVE NO CLUE how the counter truly works! LOL

Personally I "think" a charge cycle is based on this: You start to charge the phone either by plugging it in, or wirelessly. You leave it on the charger long enough for the cycle counter to kick in. You stop charging it. You now have another cycle count added on. I could very well be wrong here...

One little update...the factory reset worked as I previously stated except that now the option to select 80% charge is gone??? SMH

Well, it looks like the factory reset worked. I can now access the Wallpaper and style app! Now I just have to install my apps and get everything back the way I like it. I have to admit that during the first setup I did what I always tell others NOT TO DO... I allowed my previous phone to copy...
