No it's a sim free model. It had the 505 mainboard issue so they replaced the mainboard with a 6XX one. I've checked for update on the phone and bridge.

lolol JayWill, Indeed it did! I'm just hoping it lasts now. I had a Galaxy S2 before that lasted 4 years before I moved onto the G4 in October 2015, if I get half the longevity as I did out the S2 I'll be happy.

Honestly I don't like the design of the G5, smaller screen but bigger. No thank you. I'd have liked to have seen it waterproof and have wireless charging. Would be nice to have removable battery still and SD card slot but not with these modules/friends.

Mine is a 505 too and I've got issue with mainboard. Sent it back to LG, they were busy to sent it off to an authorised repairer, came back nearly a MONTH later and it hadn't even been fixed. A courier is supposed to be picking it up today but no sign of them yet.

Mine is due for collection by the courier today... fingers crossed it'll come back repaired this time! LG assured me theyd fix it themselves and not send it to their authorised repairer this time and that hes marked it down as 'recall' fix so should get a new mainboard. We will see.
