Keeping it without a doubt!

Go to Settings, then Apps, then ALL, then click on each app listed above and click on the "Disable" button. They will then appear at the very bottom of the ALL list when you scroll all the way down, so you can always re-enable them if you ever want to.

The apps I immediately disabled are: Amazon Kindle, Color, Email, Help, MC3, Real Racing 2, Setup Wizard, Slacker Radio, Sync Service, V Cast Tones, Verizon Video and VZ Navigator.

My advice - go into Apps, then ALL, scroll down to Sync Service, and disable that puppy. That will stop it from constantly running.

I've had the new Maxx HD since launch day on Thursday and can't say enough positive things about it. I'm coming from a Galaxy Nexus and a Droid X prior to that. The ONLY thing I miss about the G-Nex is Jelly Bean, but we should all be seeing it soon on our Razr's before the end of the year if...

Did the reset resolve the issue for you DJ?

Well damn...my touchscreen issues are now back. I went a solid 4 hours with the stock keyboard and a perfectly working screen to a screen that will scroll/swipe/tap correctly only after I lock the screen and wake it back up. This is just not acceptable.

For whatever reason, Swiftkey3 seems to have been the culprit. After using the stock keyboard on my phone for the last hour or more, I haven't had a single screen sensitivity issue. It's been working buttery smooth as it did before the 4.0.4 update. For those with this problem that are using...

One member over on XDA indicated that switching from Swiftkey3 keyboard to the stock keyboard corrected the issue. Perhaps that's the app that's misbehaving and causing the screen sensitivity issues. I'm going to give that a shot and report back.
