What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

Want to rid yourself of the toast notifications that have been happening to Cricket users....(yes, it is a Cricket issue). Simply go to your <Settings>, <WiFi>, <Cricket WiFi Manager> and slide the bar into the OFF position.

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

Go into phone settings, select wifi and turn off Cricket WiFi Manager. Simple as that. Should work on any Cricket phone. I've done this with both my ZTE & Motorola phones.

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

I have a ZTE Blade X Max with Cricket. In my previous posts I indicated what I was advised to do was to go into <Settings>; <WiFi> and turn off Cricket WiFi Manager. I did and have not seen anymore of those annoying toasts. Cricket advised me through a chat message that they are working on a...

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

I have Cricket & ZTE. I checked for a Cricket update this morning and my phone indicated there was an update which auto-installed very quickly. Knock-on-wood, I haven't lost my ability to connect to my home wifi as yet, though I'm not picking up wifi when I go to local stores, known to have...

Cricket responded to me that they are working on a fix. They gave no indication of how long that will take.

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

Go into your phone settings, choose WiFi and at the top you should see Cricket WiFi Manager. Tap that and you should be able to uncheck the box that keeps it active.

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

What helped me was to disable the Cricket WiFi Manager as advised by ZTE. So far so good, no more toast messages.

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

All I can find is that it's a gov't ban on US military bases worldwide as per the linked article provided... I am very happy with my ZTE phone and Cricket has been more than gracious in trying to help me find a solution to the issue in question, the random "toasts"...

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

So far, I've been told by ZTE to turn off Cricket WiFi Manager... which I have done and am waiting to see if the toasts persist or disappear. Still waiting to hear from Cricket if they are going to come up with a temporary solution (like ZTE did) or a fix. Will keep y'all posted.

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

I have contacted both ZTE and Cricket and they have both responded and are looking into the issue. Will post what they tell me, if they tell me anything. The app "Toast Source" is saying it's coming from the Cricket Wi-Fi Manager.

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

Where do we go from here? Do we wait, call Cricket, ZTE... It's not affecting the phone any, it's just an annoyance.

What is "MobilityState" and why does it keep appearing on my phone?

I have a ZTE Blade X Max and it appears I had a small update today from my provider. Ever since then I've had the Mobility "toast" showing every few minutes as well. Could it be related to an android update? I almost reset my phone today until I found this thread.
