I think Google itself has a service which can translate your app into various languages as well. I haven't tried it out yet but I saw the option when uploading my app onto the Play Store!

I really recommend The Busy Coder's Guide to Android Development. Their guide and code examples are second to none. They have chapters on every topic you could think of and is written really well.
