Hmm I seriously doubt that as the last dated post was made Sept 25 2017 and today is Oct 20, 2020 which makes it 3 years and 25 days old not 3 years.

Samsung did not do very well to clarify how to address this issue. I found that this did the trick on S7: Settings → Applications → Application Manager (top) → Apps that can appear on top (top right button drop-down menu) → then go down the list and start swiping all the turned-on buttons OFF...

No it does not help, my setting was already set to "none" and still have this issue.
