So my experience was the opposite of proactix'. VISIONary+ produced the same symptoms for my Shift as z4root did for his (dog slowness, no root access, app missing from app drawer until power cycling), while z4root worked with no complaints for my Shift as VISIONary+ did for his. It's bizzaro...

I had the identical experience using Visionary+, including the fact that the Visionary+ app was no longer listed in the app drawer until after I pulled the battery.
