I have had no such problems - it works fine for me - so I'm going to have to take a guess: if the full path name to your APK file has spaces in it then enclose the whole path name in quotes "path name".

I have the same problem on my Note 3. I did try force stop and clear data and cache but that didn't work. I also uninstalled all of the updates back to the factory version and that didn't work. I notice that if I go to Settings / Accounts and pick my Samsung account and Sync then I find that...
