Yeah, I have noticed the same thing and I've only installed about 15 apps so far. All of my apps are installed on the device.

I understand he just got it and the battery has to settle in, that's why I said it may be and didn't say it is disappointing.

Wow, it does sound like the battery life may be a bit disappointing. Thanks for giving us the feedback.

I'm actually on my 2nd G Pad because the first was having the problem with the blue line that would appear after extended use. I'm still getting about the same battery life in this one compared to the another. I think people that are getting good battery life have their brightness turned way down.

I get about the same hours on the battery as you. I don't think the battery is defective, the display is just eating up the battery life. I would rather keep my brightness up and charge it when not in use than lower the brightness level, unless I know I'm not gonna charge it for a while. Mine...

Yeah, I'm thinking it's hardware related. I've read on another forum somebody else complaining about the blue line as well. I don't have any light bleeding on the screen anywhere. I was also going to return my and try another one. How is your battery life? I can get a little more that 5...

I have the same thing happening to mine. I think it may be heat related since it doesn't appear until I've been on the tablet for an extended amount of time. Once it cools down, the line goes away.
