Samsung note 9 cracked screen just the glass part, what should i do?

Total agreement with #4 -- screen protector. I bought a tempered glass one on Amazon (a two-pack, actually...). Dropped the Note 9 a couple of months after purchase -- the edge hit the metal foot of a table and cracked (nearly shattered...) the protective screen. Not a mark on the glass...

    And That's All She Wrote...!

https://mobilesyrup.com/2019/07/02/google-pixel-c-end-of-life/ And with that, the inglorious end to the Pixel C. I'm still using mine for reading epub books, but it's too slow now for anything else. Have upgraded to an IPAD and that will be the end of experimentation with Android tablets.

    Who's still using theirs?

Thanks for your post, B. Diddy. Yes, tried that and it doesn't make any difference. Maybe I'll try an entire factory reset when I have an hour to kill. :-(

    Who's still using theirs?

Yes, still using mine, although it has become so sluggish, I only use it for reading books. I've given up using it as a travel device -- it's pretty much unusable for any other kind of work. I'm now shopping for a new IPAD and wish I'd bought an IPAD instead of the Pixel C. It seems that...

    Note 9 tripod recommendations

I bought a couple of these... Cheap like borscht, and you can carry one in whatever you're packing. Attaches to car dash, a branch, whatever's handy. Also have a 'real' tripod, but this one has proven very handy because it's always there...

How to disable bixby and bixby button SOLUTION

Here's a slightly 'hay wire' way to disable the Bixby button on the side. I just bought a Spigan case, which has buttons attached at the sides. When depressed, these buttons contact the actual buttons of the phone. If you removed the rubber button adjacent to the phone's Bixby button, it...

    Samsung wireless charger

I just bought this one... (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07BXNNFG8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=hawk-future-ca-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU6347430). Bear in mind, this is Amazon dot CA. The price has gone up 4 bucks since mine was shipped. It includes a cable but uses...

Pixel C or wait for a new Google Tablet?

I've read the notes here, and can confirm that my Pixel C is becoming so 'flaky' that it'll soon be unusable. Have spent time on the phone with their support folks, but the tech suggested, it sounds like has been dropped or gotten wet. Neither of those things has happened. My first tablet was...

    Android Pay Usage Messages

I've setup Android Pay on an LG G4 and am quite delighted. My question -- after each individual use, Android Pay sends me a message, saying that a charge was just applied to my account, with a few details about when/where/$ etc. The message then disappears -- I can't find it in my texting...
