update on this. Replaced screen and digitiser today. still got the same problem. So its either the board itself or software. however I did do a factory reset on it already

Wondering if anyone has experienced this problem. Sometimes during general use my G3's screen will flicker and then slowly fade to black. To get it back I have to lock the phone and then I'm able to use the knock code to wake it up again and then screen looks fine, but will often repeat this...
