Updated to Oreo and all my home screens gone

luckily though, I just realized my notes got saved in the sticky notes widget app. happier but still very annoyed lol. when you upgrade your computer's OS, everything is still where you left it...they just swap out everything underneath it. apparently not with Android.

Updated to Oreo and all my home screens gone

Half complaint, half question. Updated to Oreo and it completely replaced my home screens with generic new ones. I don't remember any info I read that said to take screenshots, etc because your home screens will be erased. I had sticky notes there with important info, my clocks and calendar all...

Qi charging making phantom phone calls?

The only thing that makes sense is that I DO have the "glove mode" on since I don't have touchscreen gloves, and it's freezing up here in CT. Maybe the enhanced sensitivity/light touching is being triggered by the Qi magnetic fields?

Qi charging making phantom phone calls?

Been loving the Qi charging, but yesterday, a new issue developed. Been using a Choetech Qi pad, but just 2 days ago got a Tylt stand to charge with. Last night, I set the phone on the Tylt stand, and like 2 minutes later, my fiancee's phone starts ringing. I look at her phone and see that...

Does Foxfi work on the z3v

Built-in wireless hotspotting works fine for me. I'm on a tiered data plan, so verizon allows it. My understanding is if you're on an unlimited data plan, you have to use something like foxfi. Not sure how that works, but I can confirm that the built-in hotspotting works just fine.

    FREE or CHEAP International data/voice/texts

I'm going to Canada next week (from the US) - and trying to figure out a better way to text/talk/surf. Here's Verizon's charges for usage in Canada: $0.50 to send text and $0.05 to receive text. $15 for 1000 voice minutes $25 for 100mb data or pay per use $2.05 per mb. I know the easy...

Bluetooth Media Audio/Phone Connection Issue - Pioneer FH-P8000BT

I was just going to post the same thing! Issue seems to be resolved. Un-paired everything, made the stereo forget the BT info, and re-paired it. Even restarted car and phone and BT audio re-connected fine. I will test thoroughly this week, but it looks promising!

Bluetooth Media Audio/Phone Connection Issue - Pioneer FH-P8000BT

Hoping KitKat somehow solves this, because Pioneer has never released a firmware update for this HU...I can't even find any firmwares that some hackers/fanboys made...

Cracked Screen - Replacing Through Asurion - help transferring EVERYTHING?

Interesting, thanks! I guess the same could happen with a bluetooth mouse if you had one and were able to pair it...that would allow me to install some sort of backup app, etc....

Cracked Screen - Replacing Through Asurion - help transferring EVERYTHING?

Using the Verizon kickstand case - phone fell perfectly on concrete, top right edge - cracked screen all the way down the phone. Only the upper left corner (about 1/3 of the screen) is still useable via the touchscreen. BTW - upon restart of the phone, up popped a message "It appears your LCD...
