mine still works fine with minimal lag, occasionally. And since lg is doing away with what made the v20 such a great phone. As they did with the g2 I will be using it until it stops working. And then I have no idea what I'm going to do.

I will hold onto my v20 until it i start having problems with it.Or somebody makes a phone that doesnt have curved edges,can take abuse ( no glass back), a 16x9 aspect ratio, (I dont want a tall thin phone),and if if it has a non removable battery make it big enough. I dont mind the extra weight.

My last battery I purchased at lg.com. more expensive than cheap ebay batteries but genuine v20 battery.

my v20 is the best phone I ever owned. reception wise excellent, on verizon. It must be your carrier or else you got a defective phone.

I recently visited my local verizon store and checked out the note 9. I really don't like the curved edges or the screen aspect ratio. That and the bixby button make me prefer my v20.

I just had an issue where I couldn't turn off or unlock my phone because the power button didn't work. But the finger print scanner worked allowing me to unlock the phone. I didn't want to pull the battery because I might not be able to turn it back on. I read where several people tried...

just got another one last night.

If lg offers a V40 with a flat screen, 16:9 ratio, removable battery, able to withstand drops (no glass back), water resistant, quad dac, I'll buy it. Otherwise I'm keeping my v20 until It starts having issues.

Dropped mine once, roughly 3.5 feet onto a tile floor. no case. Back cover and battery flew off. No scratches or dents that I could see. Put it back together. Good as new.

Thanks. Now I have scratches :( Lol. But seriously if I don't tilt it at an angle under a light I can't tell that they're there. There aren't many and they are small. It feels so much better naked. The phone that is.

I'm somewhat anal about keeping my screen clean. haven't used a screen protector for either my v20 or g2. No scratches yet.

Figured it out :) I switch between these two.
