Fingerprint readers: can they be trusted?

What is stored on your device isn't an actual image of your finger print. It is a mathematical representation of your finger print. So it's just a bunch of numbers that don't mean anything to anyone other than your specific device.

Scratch on google pixel Chamfer or normal?

I don't have a Pixel, but I know silver iPhones do the exact same thing. Phones are not made of raw aluminum.

Scratch on google pixel Chamfer or normal?

The silver phones do not have an anodized coating and so are more prone to show scratches on the exposed aluminum. Same thing happens with silver iPhones.

Get a glass screen protector instead and you will not lose touch responsiveness.

    Pixel XL Returned

Some phones rattle, some don't. It's the camera mechanism every time. There is nothing wrong with the device.

Google Seriously Needs and Android-Wide iMessage Like Messaging Service

Just my two cents; As an iPhone user I would not switch to Android because it suddenly had an iMessage like service or even if Apple released iMessage for Android.

    Google Pixel/Pixel XL Review Discussions

Everyone seems to be completely overlooking this major difference. Sure Google designed the phone. But an off the shelf Snapdragon CPU will never achieve type of synergy Apple gets with their A chips and iOS. It has taken Apple many years to get their A series chips to where they are now. Google...

Tablets are completely useless/crap and pointless!!

I agree with OP. All the reasons listed are why I do not have a tablet. I'm perfectly fine with my smart phone and laptop. Someday I might get a tablet if there is a really great sale. I do not think tablets will go away. Manufacturers are already coming to terms that tablet sales will be the...

"Locked" iPhone in Terrorist case - meaning same as "locked" bootloader in Android?

Re: Any iDevice running iOS 8.0 or later that has a passcode enabled to lock the device is encrypted by default. So without the passcode the FBI has no way to get data off the phone. It has nothing to do with being SIM unlocked, boot loader unlocked, etc.

Is Apple iMessage sabotaging texts with Google URLs?

If you are messaging an iPhone user then it will never use iMessage and always use SMS. No iMessage did not mess up your link.

Just got an iPad and I find it rather disappointing

Android tablets are just big Android phones the same as the iPad is just a big iPhone. If you want something more than just a big phone I recommend the Microsoft Surface. Or if you are happy with your laptop there is no reason to give that up. I don't own a tablet myself. I am perfectly happy...
