What is stored on your device isn't an actual image of your finger print. It is a mathematical representation of your finger print. So it's just a bunch of numbers that don't mean anything to anyone other than your specific device.

I don't have a Pixel, but I know silver iPhones do the exact same thing. Phones are not made of raw aluminum.

The silver phones do not have an anodized coating and so are more prone to show scratches on the exposed aluminum. Same thing happens with silver iPhones.

Get a glass screen protector instead and you will not lose touch responsiveness.

Some phones rattle, some don't. It's the camera mechanism every time. There is nothing wrong with the device.

Lot's of things gets announced at conventions like that and then never see the light of day. We call those vaporware. Until Samsung announces this in partnership with US carriers that is all this technology will be; vaporware.
