Mine is still very very smooth. And as others said, the audio, if you are into that, is top notch. That is one of the big reasons I stick with HTC.

HTC still wins by far for me personally in phones, and Ive used all the other flagships for awhile via friends. The other just dont do it for me the way HTC does. So until HTC does me wrong, I will always have an HTC while waiting to swap a new HTC when the time comes.

Not overly worried about it still. I get easily a day and a half and phone never stutters. So it will show up when it shows up. Until then the phone is perfect for what I use it for.

Yeah, the M8 and its half baked release we got stuck with was ugly. Really dragged down my phone. Was still good, but it wasnt nearly as good as it was pre update. I dont expect much issue with 7.0 on the 10. Ill gladly update when it arrives but not in a hurry for it to get here just because.
