Re: Can't Install 2 Application Updates
Clearing the data/cache was one of the Google Helpful Hints; I've already done that. I did the uninstall that you mentioned and that didn't help. Thank you.
Can't Install 2 Application Updates
This first began a couple days ago. My 2013 Nexus 7 tablet said that it just couldn't install the update for LiveStream. It's running the latest updated version of Android 6.0.1. So I went through the troubleshooting tips it gave me and finally called...
I just don't like it. The battery drains as badly as the Nexus 5 and not even 3 GB of RAM. I knew about the RAM going in, but I thought at least a new battery...
I thank you all for your thoughts. They're exactly what was said by the folks in the Google Products Nexus 5X forum. So I sent the developers of the 2 apps that I mentioned an email last night with 2 references about coding problems causing this situation. I hope they take it seriously and...

I'm still in the process of setting up my new Nexus 5X phone which I bought from Google. However, I already see a problem with drug store apps like the ones from CVS and Walgreen's. I have uninstalled and reinstalled each of those 5 times, but it is clear that the image of a medication bottle...
Doesn't anyone have any ideas about perhaps a phone setting that I might have accidentally touched that could turn off reception of text messages from short code numbers? T-Mobile is completely baffled, so here I sit without this service. What should I do?
I should have checked in 2 weeks ago to say that my Nexus 5 phone just got Android 6.0.1 OTA at that time. I was surprised because I was waiting for my Nexus 7 2013 to get upgraded period and it went straight to 6.0.1 while my phone was at 6.0.0.
Sorry, that was the title. I can no longer receive text messages from short code numbers. Numbers like 22520 or 77621. These are numbers like your drug store uses to tell you that your prescription is ready. Or maybe your bank sends you a text with a code to verify so you can do mobile banking...
