Thanks Pville,
I actually had to pull everything off my sd card and reformat. Once I put everything back on, i rebooted into Hboot, updated the files and restarted it. I immediately changed the name of the file so that it didn't come up again and want to install.
Thanks again guys!
You are fine, I'm super new to this! Anyways yes I am definitely in hboot, when it look for the file in the quick screen it does, mine says the PB31IMG.zip not found..
doug piston,
thanks for all your advice! I went ahead and had verizon send me another phone (my external speaker was blown anyways, been meaning to get a new one). So once I get this one, I'll see if it is rootable!
Thanks!
So I tried rooting, and every time I get this error that says "validity error: CID backup missing". I have done rather extensive research on this problem and it seems like no one has a good answer for fixing this. Is there anything you guys might know about this and how to fix it?
Thanks in...
That was what I followed, but when you first open device manager, mine wasn't under other devices like it shows, instead mine shows up as android phone just like it does later on that screen. Everything worked and it said was installed successfully.
Android phone, I did notice that it wasn't under other devices in device manager like it was in the instructions i was following, instead it had its own category as android phone.
