On Monday morning I noticed the same problem. During the day the battery is discharging normally. Over night is when I am noticing a 70% drop. I'm turning it off tonight so as to not further run down the battery until a fix is identified. I typically have DND on at night. Gear S3 classic.

I have mine off because my phone switches between extenders and thus get weaker signals at times. Results in dropped calls or bad quality. Maybe I'm doing something wrong too, lol

I did not do a reset. I'll report back in a couple days and let you know how the battery situation is looking.

Let us know what you T-mobile users are seeing regarding any issues. It will influence my decision on whether to update once Verizon slow-turtles it out for the rest of us.

I have this same problem in 2.3. Updates have nothing to do with it. Works whenever it feels like it. Hopefully fixed in 3.0.

The watchmaker developers issued a notice last week that they have their app under review by Samsung for approval of inclusion of their companion app into the Samsung store. They seemed to think that it would not take much more time to resolve various issues and get approval.

That's good to hear. I haven't had any problems yet since getting it back. It drained pretty quickly the first day but after letting it drain and fully charging, it seems to be back to normal.
