    Loss of data connection

OK, same issue arising. And it's on all roms it seems. The 3G icon is up, but the up down arrows do not move. Mostly no data, and if there is a connection it moves like dial up. I've tried flashing several radios. Different roms and kernel combos. I'm stumped.

    Loss of data connection

Thanks guys. I had initially downloaded aeroevans .7 kernel, but now I don't know which version I downloaded. Also thanks for that radio thread.I hadn't even thought about reading through there but there's a lot that might help. Now to pry the phone away from her for a while :\

    Loss of data connection

Hey, So my wife just upgraded to a DInc 2 and of course her old phone was running CM7 so first thing I did was flash that. Everything went fine but after a couple of days she's complaining that whenever she's at a break at work she'll go to grab her phone and quick check Facebook and it'll say...

    Flashing the radio

Thanks for the tip, I'm upgrading radio now and we will see how it goes.

    ROM suggestion

I was recently running Virtuous and had been for a while and really liked it as it was basically sense but with nice tweaks. I recently got the curious twitch and changed to MIUI and I really liked it. The UI changes are amazing, unfortunately no combo of rom and kernal could get me any kind of...

Didn't see what you want at CES? Chill.

Same here. In fact my wife and I both had BBs and after about 2 weeks of watching me on my DInc she moved as well. As for CES I didn't really see anything that swayed me. The Xperia Arc looked the best to me IMO. Didn't have dual-core, didn't have a ff cam, but sure was pretty. I'd love a phone...

    HTC + Dual Core???

From small information gathered at CES we will start seeing dual core snapdragons in Q2. Expect HTC to be in the thick of things.

New Incredible Battery Life Sticky: Please Contribute

Yes it can. I was sick of lasting half a day on stock and even with the 1750 I'd be lucky to get home with more than 10-15%. I finally rooted and after some hit and miss I ended up with Virtuous Rom using their custom kernel. The difference is night and day. Instead of 10-15% when I get home...

The Best of CES (Android related only)

Phone : I'd have to go with the Sony Xperia Arc too. Specs wise there are others that are better, and buy the middle of the year there will be a bunch of dual cores from various manufacturers, but the Arc was just a good looking piece of hardware, packing fairly high-end hardware and current...

38 Android Phones and Tablets So Far this Year

Xoom does look nice. Out of the phones I'd have to say that the Xperia Arc looks like the nicest phone to me, and one of the only ones that actually says it will ship with 2.3 Think I'll hold out to see what LTE pricing is before I do anything though.

Verizon announces 4 identical devices from 4 different manufacturers?

Didn't find anything regarding HTC, but I did find various articles about some ASUS tablets coming soon and while most were using the Tegra2, one was caught with a dual-core snapdragon. They have a June launch date so Q2 dual snapdragons doesn't seem too off. Link.

Verizon announces 4 identical devices from 4 different manufacturers?

For those wondering about lack of dual-core ships in the announced phones, I think dual-cores go by who manufactures the chip. Motorola got the dual-core tegra2 because Nvidia has is ready to be used now. HTC has historically gone with Qualcomm chips (think Sony does too) and their dual-core...

    Swype Beta Has Ended 6/15/2010

I find it harder to type in landscape mode as I feel like I'm overreaching with my finger. Seems to be decent with portrait though.

All about Incredible batteries (Replacements, Charging..ect)

I ended up getting the Seidio 1750 from Amazon for $40. Was it worth the $$$? Probably not. Am I glad I got it? Hell yeah. Without it I'd be looking at less than 15-20% by late evening. Now I'm looking at a little under 50%.
