Your "sales guy" should only have the cheapest phone VZW offers. Oh, and take the cost of the phone out of his paycheck. I've had my HD MAXX since 11/06 and use that baby " bareback" as it should be used. Love showing it off against my brother's OtterBox'ed covered iPhone 5. :cool:

Unfortunately the call log won't group by name, just by date. That's something I miss as well. But, I live with it. What BB did you use? I still have my 9700, but regret updating to version 6. Unlike JB on my MAXX here...

Actually I love the notification light- way better then my OG Dinc and rivals my BB9700. LightFlow seals the deal IMHO

It's NOT the cable. He/She might have a defective USB port on the phone. I've used every cable I have(and the MoTo cable is still in the box unused) as well as chargers from HTC, BlackBerry and ....wait for it....iPad 3. They all work for me.

The phone needed to be activated first on VZW'S network. Was that done?
