As others have mentioned, Fi service switches between Sprint, TMobile and US Cellular and allows wifi calling as well. That is the best feature imo as my in laws live in the boonies with 0 cell coverage. The only drawback to Fi is if you use a lot of data. Then it is not cost effective. You pay...

Not necessarily. 0% is nice. Plus I can expense my phone bill at work. A ~$75ish cell phone bill through Fi doesn't even get a second look. So there are circumstances where financing is great value (i.e. free phone) ;)

To the two previous replies, there's no way to tell that. Allegedly Google has optimized the phone to work with it. Time will tell. The iThing seems to be ok with 4GB RAM :shrug:

I'm curious about that. I think (hope) most of you will be surprised with earlier delivery dates. I'm still showing 10/16-10/17 as my delivery date. Then again, I haven't seen anyone else post dates that early. Edit - this was meant to quote bhatech who mentioned the thought they would ship...

I posted in the rumored devices forum but I ordered a black 64gb XL through the Fi app at about 150pm CST and have delivery date of October 16-17 Nm I see that the forums have moved

I ordered through the Fi app and it's showing delivery on the 16th-17th No option for a free stand however. I ordered that through the store

So, Google is still trolling us right?
