I had the same problem as you. Then I realized I was not running the most updated ROM version. Make sure you are running ROM version 20120219. I updated my ROM to that and the problem went away. I now can add apps to my heart's content with more then enough room!:D

You got it, that was the problem! I took ROM manager off!

I used the one listed in the instructions: [ROM+Kernel] Inferior Human Organs unofficial CM7.1 (Gingerbread) I love it. The only thing is I'm missing my clock on the notification bar on top. I kinda liked having it there. Oh well though it's minor..just got used to it that's all.
