7%/24h sounds about right. Did you sideload 6.0 or did you get the OTA? I have the LTE model and still waiting. Apps? Off. Ya, rebooting brought everything back to normal, I was just curious why it happens once every so often. Either through an app or empirically.

Could anyone give an explanation for this? Not the first time it's happening.

Just to let everyone know, I bought the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact last week and ended my Moto X misery. I wanted so much to love that phone (shape, features) but it just didn't love me back. Subpar battery life, extremely volatile reception and battery drain as well as no Lollipop after *6* months...
