What phone(s) would you choose over your Nexus 5?

The One Plus One shows how good specs can be cheap, N4 to N5 two and a half times the screen pixels, better graphics, LTE advanced, double flash option. SAME price on release, N5 to N6 double screen pixels, better graphics, LTE advanced, double flash option. 70% more costly, its as crazy as...

    Nexus 9 Specs

OK, 64 bit chip, OS, core apps, release apps, faster memory management, amazingly no one seems to have said, WOW 192 Nvidia GPUs. Apple didn't go 64 bit, for no reason, one of their devices even has 2 GB of RAM, so they can exploit some of that power. The many failings of 64 bit on the desktop...

what kind of smartphones will we be using in 10 years?

In 10 years time, we'd be into glasses free 3D 8k on a 6" territory, optical interconnects (silicon lasers have made this cheap,) possibly optical computing. Other possibilities, are some kind of 3D printed honeycomb, of micro Faraday cage, memory CPU GPU, with micro machine pumps, running very...

I sure do hope we get the new Nexus 10 within the next 14 days

Had heaps of trouble with my N7 FHD too, but later software updates seem to have solved most of the problems, I'm really disappointed that the new N10 isn't going to be UD (4k.) Whilst I like the Tegra 4 in Surface 2, with its desktop commonalities in 72 GPU cores, all the way to UD, Microsoft...

Would you buy it for $449???

Yup, Google play slip shows $350 for 16 GB, probably $380, $390 for 32GB, my N7fhd was only $40 more for the 32GB. N7fhd was delayed and is now 3 months old, prices for upgrades may have gone down further. My October N7 32GB was $50 more so by now it ought to be only $30 for an upgrade.

What phone are you coming from?

Trying again, I'm with you bro, I'm rocking a N4 and a N7fhd, just ordered a Chromecast, also got an Android TV HDMI dongle. The N5 is very tempting, as is a $100 UD An TV dongle, but I'll probably have to wait.

    The upcoming N7

I'm with you, the more resolution the better, some of these people talk about full HD, 3D, or Ultra Definition as if they're bad things, I've never known my 3D monitor to have trouble displaying fHD TV. They talk as if it's going to consume more battery, no, most power consumption is the screen...
