ok been reading through everything and everywhere, and hit a brick wall. i've dl the android driver, look into devices, My HTC driver is bringing up "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware code (37)". i know sync will be recognized as htc desire, cant get that to work...

what os are you using for your htc sync. have vista home premiere (nobody fall off their seats! :eek: basic home use) cant get the usb driver to recognize phone.....

been a long time user of audacity (before apps were thought of). i store all my custom ringtones here: On your SD card create folder media/audio/notifications/ringtones/alarms. put them all in the alarms folder. this also bypasses the 300kb for me.
