Tried that too but it comes up with the message: Unsupported Device Odin is not installed it's just run from a .exe file within a folder I created... now deleted.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried that but cannot get the software to detect the phone as it doesn't boot up. Even put it into the volume up / down start modes to no avail.
