Finally, an objective review of the Iphone 6 plus

"kind of plasticky" It's made from aluminum. Are you sure you weren't holding the S5?

    Apple Watch...thoughts?

I'm very disappointed in it too. The round design is catchy but also gimmicky. If the current technology forces you to have a black bar at the bottom taking up display space, then it's a fail. I see it as more proof of concept than a device I would want. Not too turned on by the Apple watch...

    Former WebOS Users Discussion Thread

What's amazing about webOS is that it seems other OS's are still playing catch up. Such a forward thinking OS and I will never buy another HP product as long as I live.

Why exactly does iOS 7 need to be 64bit?

This thread will be pretty meaningless when there are 64bit Android phones which are around the corner. I hope those saying this is an Apple gimmick will at least offer the same critique to 64bit Android devices.

This week is iOS's last chance

Actually it is related to Android because it is "open" so therefore Google does not have control of its own OS in terms of both features and software updates. Nexus phones are not big sellers and Google has never been in the customer service/support business for Android or their services so you...

This week is iOS's last chance

Why would being able to choose a default browser be the true death of iOS? There are more companies than just Apple who sue other companies. Like I said that is the easy narrative and it brings people to sites to read the story. Nokia and Kodak both sued Apple without being sued first. Not all...

This week is iOS's last chance

I think you missed the points in my post. In fact your second response is a reflection of exactly what I was saying. I was not equating the openness I see starting with iOS 7 with the openness on Android. I was comparing iOS 1-6 with 7 only and not cross platform. Again I see it as a...

This week is iOS's last chance

I think iOS 7 represents the gradual opening up of iOS. I don't mean open like like open source. That won't happen and shouldn't happen. I mean that the post Jobs Apple is trying to find the balance between user needs and user ease when before it seemed to be strictly the latter. I thought it...
