The only option i see on all these Sprint apps is to disable them. Anyway to uninstall them permanently?

We have had a sprint tower outage over the past 2 days in Richmond but ever since Sprint completed their work on the tower, my signal on my phone has improved greatly! Inside the house my phone would get 1-2 bars and never higher. Ever since the outage, I am getting no less than 4 bars inside...

Is anybody else having issues with the Accuweather app not updating on wifi? I will disable wifi and the app updates right away but with wifi turned on, i get connection failed issue... All other programs seem ok with the wifi
