I think I finally have an answer. Go to Settings, then along the top go to Accounts, then to Backup and Reset at the bottom. Take off the check mark on automatic restore. Once you have deleted your pictures on your first device and check to make sure that they are deleted off your other devices...

Did you delete your photos on Gallery or Photos?

I have tried that and it still does not work right. Any other suggestions
