Best fix I've seen so far: When connecting to PC, you'll get a notification that says 'charging with USB'. Tap the notification to get more options, then select Transfer data. You'll have to do this every time you connect.

before marshmallow I could copy/save music files on San Disk 32. After marshmallow, Nada! just shows Moto G3 in folder tree, but cant open it. Many other similar posts here - sounds like a bug - a big F*** bug!

Problem is Android (at least my 4.1.2 Galaxy SII) doesn't recognize NTFS or exFAT, only FAT32. Worse is that win7 & win8 dont let you format to FAT32, and the phone wont let you format it either. I had to get a 3rd party app to do it; in my case a nifty little app I found on the Sandisk website...

EaseUs Partition Master Home Edition is ADware :( I dont want tracking and advertising junk on my 'puter. Is there any other way to format FAT32 to 64GB?

My Galaxy SII will not format nor recognize any formatted card but FAT32. I have a 32 and two 64's that are FAT32 and work fine. Trouble is how to format from NTFS or exFAT to FAT 32. Cant do it in Windows 7 or 8 - not an option...
