Until Facebook makes the change there is nothing anyone can do. I have cleared defaults many times and that does not solve the problem. Maybe try using Friendcaster or similar. I used to use it but it was horribly buggy.

Yup, it is the FB app and the auto play. Why do this? It sucks...may try to revert to an older version if I can.

It indeed is a Facebook issue. I tried uninstalling then re-installing and it worked for a little while...then went back into using "some" video player. It does this on both my S4 and Tab II so I know it isn't the phone.

It has something to do with the latest FB update on the 13th. What worked (temporarily) for me was to uninstall and then re-install. After some time it reverts back though. It is definitely an app issue...how it behaves with this phone.

One thing to note. #4 above should say UNPLUG device as when you try to launch recovery mode with it plugged in....no go. So unplug at step #4. It is now FINALLY updating, though when I hit reboot after the download I got an ERROR! on the screen then it went black. Not sure why....seems to...

Okay....looks like holding the power button down till the screen goes dark is the secret!! Just hitting the power off on the screen was not enough. Seems some of our Tabs are very stubborn! Now lets see if the update works ;) Okay...did not work doing the original shut down 5-10 times deal...
