I find after a restart the problem ceases only temporarily. only swipes for short cuts are recognized. i'm also trying to avoid wiping it.

Could you send the unroot instructions my way as well, or post them? Want to be sure of a back up plan in case I need to unroot for a warranty issues. ty

I switched from an iPhone 5. after unplugging around 6:00am it'd be down to 20% by 12 pm. Now with the GS4 i can get to around 7pm before hitting 20% and that's if I don't plug it in for short periods like while driving, etc.
