I'm sticking with my Pixel 2 XL and its 3 years of updates. I'm not impressed with the Pixel 3s.

I have my Droid Maxx connected to both my car stereo and my Pebble watch without any issues. Both are trusted devices. The stereo handles anything audio and text, while the watch shows all notifications (to annoying effect while driving). :)

I discovered that devices paired with Trusted Devices need to be unpaired and then paired again if you encrypt the phone after initial pairing. I was being driven crazy by the fact that my Pebble watch and car stereo would no longer prevent my Maxx from locking after encrypting it. It was out...
