I got mine 2 days ago and all has been good so far. I'm happy.

Verizon, I just got it on my phone and so far it seems to work flawlessly. Not sure what all is different but my phone seems to like it so far.

S8's have $300 off right now from samsung, but with that said, your battery replacement won't cost nearly that. If you still like the phone and all your having is battery issues, I'd probably go for that.

Next phone for me is going to be the Note 8 or Note 9.. Its everything samsung and more. No other phone like it really.

Anyone notice more space at the top of the screen after the update. Like about 1/4" of space unusable above the Google assistant? It seems as though it adjusted the spacing and now the google bar is lower?

I would suggest a factory reset and add apps individually to see if you have a rogue app causing your issue. I installed the update on my turbo and although I'm not using it day to day (upgraded to S7e), I still play with the phone and haven't seen that issue with mine. Battery is still strong...
