The phone has the radio in it but most carriers disable it because they can't make any money if you don't use data. My AT&T S7 Edge has it installed and it works as long as I run G935A firmware. If I put G935U software on it, no FM radio. Seems weird that AT&T allowed it but Samsung didn't!

No, it installs SP into gear manager but not on the watch.

This does not install the gear watch version, it only installs into the Gear App on the phone. The watch version is already on the phone but isnt enabled without a mod to an XML file on the watch.

Be careful buying watch faces unless the developer shows what the AOD mode looks like. I bought the Rolex one back in Nov and never used it after I loaded it. The AOD display is horrible.

You said you went into Display to turn Always On. This setting is actually under Styles. Also, if the watch is not snug on your wrist, it will not stay on. The screen turns off when it thinks you are not wearing it.

But Samsung Pay is supported in Canada, just not on the watch. Why is that? Back in November, I tweeted Samsung about this and they said our watches would be updated soon. Curious what soon means in Samsung language!!

I have Jaybird X3 headset and it connects to my Frontier as soon as I power up the headset?? I have to adjust whether to use the watch or the phone each time because I change the source quite often but never*need to reconnect to either the phone or the watch.

Where is your watch from?*Only the watches from US, Australia and Singapore have the Samsung Pay app installed. Not sure why only those three because other countries have*Samsung Pay but can't use it on the watches yet.

I got an email from Samsung this morning that said they released a new version of Gear Manager and this will allow us to get Samsung Pay on our watches. I haven't got it yet but hopefully sometime today it will show up.
