buy from Samsung direct and trade in a device for the $300 credit. it's new so you have warranty and no upgrade fee. boom. or if you want to pay over time with no interest but it on a CC and pay if off before the due date (typically 40-60 days)

I have the same issue with lag on the keyboard compared to the iPhone I used with Gboard as well

I'm a using a skinomi one from amazon for like $8. it's wet apply and not the best but I just can't go naked. a tempered glass protector has saved my iPhone 7+ twice but I haven't seen anything worth while for the note so a wet apply is my current solution

Well over the last 5 years I have bought and sold maybe 5 devices total and saved hundreds by doing so. I learned my lesson this time. Btw I never knew I would be the 4th owner or the fact that he was "selling it for his brother". These would of been red flags.
