No, that's the point ... I don't want to sync them, I just want to keep them locally on the device. Same for the music.

Hi, I just got my new Nexus 4 and there's something I don't understand. I copied all my picture and music files from my old nexus one on the new phone. But none of these files are visible to either Play Music or the Gallery app. Just to make sure, I've installed another music app and this one...
