I actually forget what it was. I was tired and selected the wrong file. I remember it had to do with rooting, though. In recovery I tried wiping and flashing stock recovery firmware

I can boot into recovery and download mode. Sorry I left that out. I have no backup unfortunately. I'm afraid to go to an AT&T store because I voided my warrantee by flashing a custom recovery.

Hello all, I soft bricked my AT&T Galaxy S3. Odin is giving me issues, and so is my recovery (running philz). When I try and flash through Odin it fails. I've downloaded and redownloaded the files from multiple places, so I doubt all these files can be bad. Than in recovery, I get a status 7...

So I wouldn't have to buy an unlocked AT&T version to get the GS III working on Straight Talk? Like as in, I could buy a GS III off AT&T's website (or in store, from another retailer, etc), pop in my Straight Talk micro sim, get the apn all situated and it'd work fine?
