I am planning to buy a new phone specially for gaming purpose. Also if there is descent amount of software update that will be a bonus. Thank you everyone for contributing.

I have been using asus products & must say they have complete support everywhere. They provide software update even for the 2 year old phones. Zenfone 3 deluxe would be a good option as far i see in terms of camera, performance, UI, support, Community. Axon 7 in other hand will be a good option...

True i have seen may users reporting the same under Zentalk forums but i did manual update & my device is working fine, you can report the same under forums so that they will provide some information regarding the same.

A moderator on the forum said that there is some issues with OTA updates so they have asked users to manually update the device i have 2 ZE551ML & 1 had proximity issue the other doesn't so you can try your luck or visit service center as they might fix it. Check here : ZenTalk

This might be an issue with the cache or the RAM usage will be full causing the device to lag, so you can try clearing cache of Alarm App & check the App which might be causing issue, i found the solution here : ZenTalk

Check the firmware version if thats updated, also go to settings => Sound & Notification => Other sounds = > Enable Dial pad tones.

I saw on Zentalk where it is mentioned that only Zenfone ZE500KL has received Android M & is quite stable also this is the last month as what they have mnetioned so after waiting so long we might get Android M soon.

Hello I dont think so that 1st gen devices will get Android M update as the moderators on Zentalk already mentioned that 1st gen devices will receive updates based on Android L. Check here : ZenTalk

Hey Android M will be available in Q2 2016. That means in between April to June 2016. Andoid N will take a lot of time to be available on nexus devices first.
