Did you submit for your Pre-Order Bonus (256 GB SD / Gear Fit 2 / Netflix)? Post Here!

I submitted it but I never heard back from them except for the "We are processing your request" which was a week ago. I use mobilepromos.ca because that is the site us Canadians use to submit for the free Gear Fit 2 or Speaker. They will probably screw me over I think.

Battery myths. It is OK to leave your phone plugged in over night.

That is not how it works! The cell keeps it's voltage at 4.2 or 4.35 (or whatever the charger stops at) even after charging is done. The voltage holds until a load is applied. The voltage drop is proportional to the load. Better batteries (for example with lower internal resistance) have a...

Battery myths. It is OK to leave your phone plugged in over night.

You missed the point entirely ! It cannot overcharge. There is a cutoff once it hits a certain threshold (about 4.35v). The warning is not a warning. It's just a reminder that it is done charging.

So I left my Note 4 charging overnight.

I am not the one making up research. You are the one who said and I quote... "Let me rephrase so its clearer, when you keep your phone on the charger after fully charged, it stays at 100% charge level, which is at a voltage of 4.2 v. For Li-ion batteries, thats high voltage that stresses the...

Battery myths. It is OK to leave your phone plugged in over night.

I posted this as a reply to a certain someone spreading false information but I see many people have this misconception that it is bad to leave your phone plugged in because it will "overcharge" or "explode" or "catch on fire" or something..... Some say "oh but battery widget reads 4.2v or 4.3v...

So I left my Note 4 charging overnight.

Please stop spreading false information. 1) New battery chemistry in modern phones is not 3.7 nominal volts and 4.2 volts charged. Instead it is 3.85v nominal and 4.35v charged. (For example in my galaxy note 4) 2) Google CC/CV charge curves. When the battery is low, initial phase is high...

    Note 4 - OS Update - Canada

This firmware update fixes issues with the Samsung LED flip wallet case for Note 4. Fixed issues: - LED cover only displays 24h time - LED cover not showing notification animation (spinning dots) Aside from these fixes, I notice nothing different. I highly reccomend the LED flip wallet...
