BlackBerry will never die because of one other device... The biggest customer of RIM is the US government... Look at how long it takes Congress to do anything, you want to change there mobile devices? That would not be an easy feat.

Personally I am a die-hard BlackBerry user, but one of my friends just got a Droid Pro. Every time he sends me a message of a "long-ish" length it comes in with upside-down question marks between each letter. it is extremely annoying to be on the other end of this. He doesn't seem too interested...
